Fischer , Really knowledgeable and great service I interviewed/obtained estimates from 7 companies and Frank Painter was the only one that I felt actually knew what he was talking about. The rest only knew the one product they were selling and didn't even have all the answers about it. His ability to inspect comes from his former life as a roofing inspector (I know there is a more official title for it) and he caught some issues with my roof that clearly needed to be addressed. The Graco product he uses, he was knowledgeable about and it was absolutely the right product for my needs, but he was able to answer questions about other products as well. I highly recommend using Frank for all your roofing needs.

Hart , We had a real problem finding a dependable firm to remove several old satellite dishes from our roof. We had had problems with the original satellite installer/TV service provider which included roof damage and water leakage into our home, and were reluctant to trust them again, and a number of efforts to find a competent roofing contractor to remove the satellites had proved fruitless when fortunately we found Painter Roofing and Construction LLC. We called Painter Roofing on a Friday afternoon and on the following Monday morning a friendly, courteous and professional team appeared at our door and an hour or so later our problem was solved for a cost that we found exceptionally fair and reasonable. We anticipate using Painter’s services again soon and would recommend them to friends and family alike.

Gleeson , Painter roofing had a difficult task with our sun roof. The roof is a flat roof and was leaking into the sun room below. The sill height around the two doors leading from the upstairs onto the deck was too short so the doors needed replacing and then rebuilding of the deck sill. Painter roofing found the major leaks on the roof immediately and patched those until they could source appropriate doors that matched the architectural styling of the house (1883 build). The temp patch was perfect! Then, when the doors were correctly sourced, the carpenter was awesome! He custom cut, installed and finished the entire project - he ensured his work area was clean and set each evening and was always exceptionally engaging and polite - all during extreme heat and humidity. Painter Roofing shows up when they say they will; works to the original quote and finishes on time! Frank, the owner, is a pleasure to work with as he is always straightforward and honest! Call these folks!!!

Onesty , Painter Roofing and Construction put a roof on my house. Frank Painter, the owner, is so very nice to work with. He answered all my questions, brought samples and gave advice. They arrived on time on the day they were to begin, the workers were courteous, professional and very nice. The roof was finished in one day. All debrie was cleaned, they took good care to protect my shrubs and the roof looks fantastic. I was very happy with the company.

Shipley , I have used Painter Roofing for a number of projects around my home in the past several years. I have also personally known Frank for many years through my affiliation with the Fairfax County Youth Football League. Frank and his crew replaced my entire roof in 2012 and did a terrific job. Last year I had them replace a sliding glass door on my deck with double French doors; and also replaced a skylight. Currently, his crew is working on a major basement remodeling project for me. The sump pump in my basement recently stopped working and I had significant water damage. After they completed the water clean up and mold remediation, Frank and his crew came in and replaced the drywall and painted the basement. In a few weeks they will be back to install new ceramic floor throughout the basement; and new hardwood on the stairs. So as you can see, I am a repeat customer! I am a very loyal consumer and when I find a company that is responsive, shows up on time, and does quality work, I continue to use them. Frank Painter is a professional in the way he runs his company and the work that he performs. He uses a quality crew and oversees their work. I feel his prices are very competitive and he completes a project to the customer's satisfaction. He is readily available if you need to reach him. Also it is important to note that Frank is a licensed and insured contractor. There are the occasional laborers who do not have proper insurance coverage and will low ball a bid to get the work. Knowing that a company like Frank's has the necessary insurance coverage protects you as a homeowner. He values his reputation and stands behind his work.
